Digital Work during Times of Crisis. For a Gender- and Diversity-Friendly Working -from-Home Culture
This research project, with a participatory research approach using action research, aimed to support employees and employers in finding the appropriate path for a gender- and diversity-friendly "new" digital work culture during and after the pandemic.

The Role of Women in Transformation
Our society is confronted with major challenges and gender equality plays an important role in respect to sustainable development. In order to initiate and shape according transformation processes in organisations and society as a whole, it is necessary to focus on the deployment of female and male potential. ÖGUT engages in these topics in the course of a background study and a workshop at the Growth in Transition Conference 2018 (the motto was: Europe’s Transformation: Where People Matter).

Gender Career Management
Goal of the „Gender Career Management“ is to help more women reach leading positions by providing various counseling and accompanying offers for small and middle enterprises. ÖGUT, together with project partners, offers enterprise analysis and implementation support.

FEMtech Expert Database
The FEMtech expert database is designed to increase the visibility of female experts and support their chances of professional success. Currently more than 1900 female experts from over 100 specialisms are registered on the database, making it the most comprehensive expert database in Austria. The OEGUT advertises the database to potential experts and is responsible for ensuring the quality of information on the database.

The “female expert of the month” feature introduces women from the expert database who are successfully working within the fields of science and technology on a monthly basis.

Equal Opportunities for Women and Men in the Energy Sector
A background study on the topic of “Equal opportunities for women and men in the energy sector“. The results of this study were presented in the form of a workshop at the “Wachstum-in-Wandel-Konferenz 2016” (“Shifts in Growth Conference 2016”) and measures to achieve change in this area will be discussed. Building on this workshop, basic data on the topic of gender equality in the energy sector will be collected.
