In 2004 six OEGUT members (Axima Gebäudetechnik, CONNESS, Elektrizitätswerk Wels, MCE-BIS GmbH, ekostrom AG, VA Tech Elin EBG) were brought together under the title "Dachverband der Einsparcontractoren" (umbrella organisation for (energy) saving contractors) to increase awareness of contracting possibilities in Austria, to push quality assurance and to improve market transparency. The general goal: save energy, increase energy efficiency.
