A feasibility study is being conducted for 5 multi-storey residential buildings in Vienna to determine how these buildings can be cooled in the future in combination with a district heating supply in the face of increasing cooling requirements. The technical, economic, social and ecological aspects of feasibility are being taken into account. Based on the 5 residential complexes examined, recommendations for a future cooling concept are being drawn up for different building types.
