• Sustainable Finance Qualification of Financial Advisors (EURENI)

  Increasing knowledge about regulatory changes and the qualification on sustainability issues among financial advisors.

• Support and implementation of the klimaaktiv program “klimaaktiv buildings”

  The "klimaaktiv" buildings program has been setting standards for energy-efficient, sustainable, and future-oriented construction in Austria for two decades. It is based on the klimaaktiv building standard in combination with clear recommendations and guidelines for decarbonizing the heating sector.

• How do children and young people learn about the circular economy using plastics as an example? – Project Loop it!

  According to the VOEB, only one third of people under 30 know how to separate waste correctly – and teaching material on the circular economy for primary and lower secondary schools is largely missing. Loop it! develops a semester-long workshop concept that lets students experience the circular economy hands-on, using plastics as an example.

• Establishment of Circular Economy Hubs in Armenia and Moldova

  Under the EU4Green Recovery East initiative, ÖGUT supports local stakeholders in Armenia and Moldova in developing and establishing national Circular Economy Hubs. In cooperation with Impact Hub Vienna and Thinkubator, the activities focus on capacity building, the piloting of projects, and network development.

• Gender equality and inclusion in clean energy transitions in Southeast Asia

  ÖGUT supports the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) in strengthening engagement with Southeast Asia by promoting gender equality and inclusion in clean energy transitions. It includes a regional workshop to share Equal by 30 lessons and the development of a practical toolbox with region-specific actions and examples for policymakers and stakeholders.
