Franziska Trebut

Biography

Franziska Trebut has been working for ÖGUT as a researcher and project manager since March 2011. In 2014 she took charge of the subject areas Energy and Innovative Building. She works on research, strategy, and consulting projects and programmes. Her focus is on the thermal-energetic building refurbishment, the legal framework for housing, building, and funding for energy-efficient construction and refurbishment, and also real estate management and building standards as well as rating systems for urban settlements and areas.

Franziska Trebut studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin and Vienna, and social and business communication at the Berlin University of the Arts and is an officially approved estate agent and estate manager. She worked in various architectural offices in the field of design, construction and site supervision of aided redevelopment, addition of stories and new construction of dwellings. From 2008 to 2010 she had been working for the Austrian Energy Agency where she was coordinating the subject area of renovation of dwellings for the programme klima:aktiv.
