Biography

Mag. Susanne Hasenhüttel started working for ÖGUT in 2001 in the field of „ecological economy“. Before that, she worked in the project management group of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Susanne Hasenhüttl established the topic area of “sustainable finance – ethical-ecological investments” at ÖGUT and since then she has been managing national projects in this field. She has been the manager of the sustainability certification for severance-pay funds and pension funds since 2004.

Furthermore, she is head of the ÖGUT work group “operational-ecological and social benchmarking for financial service providers” and member of the ASRA-jury for the best sustainability reports and member of the jury of GREEN BRANDS. Moreover, she deals with current issues in the field of “Consumption & Quality of life”. 

Susanne Hasenhüttl studied environmental sciences majoring in economics in Graz.
