Program planning, moderation, and documentation of the conference “Sustainability Meets Medicine and Health: The Circular Economy as a Model for the Future”

On 10 December 2025, the Climate and Health Competence Centre of Gesundheit Österreich GmbH, Department of Climate Neutrality and Sustainable Transformation, held a half-day event on the topic of 'Sustainability meets medicine and health: circular economy as a model for the future', which was attended by around 80 people from various areas of the healthcare sector.

The conference focused on the question of how circular economy principles are already being taken into account in healthcare facilities, what economic and ecological benefits this brings, and what framework conditions are needed to implement the circular economy on an even larger scale than before.

ÖGUT designed an interactive setting for the conference, which contributed to maximum networking and knowledge transfer among the participants.
