Antonija Wieser, MA has been working for ÖGUT as a research associate since 2016. She studied Environment and Bio-Resources Management at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) and Global Studies with a focus on environment and economics at Karl-Franzens University of Graz. Furthermore, she completed a number of trainings such as communications, team leading and art of hosting.
She gained international experience working for the International Commission for the Protection of the Alps CIPRA (Schaan/Liechtenstein) as a part of the project staff. There she engaged in the organization of the annual conference in different countries (IT, FR, LI), the alpine network "Alpine Town of the Year" as well as projects in different fields (biodiversity, sustainable building, climate change, youth, communications).
During multiple stays abroad (for example in Bolivia, Finland, Poland, Thailand and Uganda) she was able to deepen her knowledge on sustainability, resources and management (e.g. for ecological agriculture, sustainable land- and water management and green education).
