David Horvath

Biography

Mag. David Horvath, BA supports the ÖGUT team in the field of Participation since January 2022. After studying philosophy and sociology, he worked as a campaigner, volunteer coordinator and educational expert for various NGOs in the field of development policy, human rights and biodiversity. He was involved in the grassroots movements, most notably for climate justice and building social movements. In 2019, David Horvath initiated the "Tipping Points" workshop weekends, which serve as a training platform for up to 200 activists and volunteers in Austria and Germany 2-3 times a year.

David Horvath also works as a trainer, moderator and consultant for and with associations, NGOs and informal groups with a focus on collective strategy development and campaign planning.
