Short biography
Mag. Dr. Ines Omann is head of the Localised project at ÖGUT. She studied environmental systems science and economics at the University of Graz and holds a PhD in ecological economics from the Universities of Graz and Leeds. For 25 years, she has been working in transdisciplinary research projects in the fields of socio-ecological transformation, climate change and policy and sustainability research, among others at SERI, the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, the Helmholtz Research Centre for the Environment in Leipzig, or at ÖFSE. She is also a self-employed moderator and process facilitator. As such, she coordinated, for example, the first ,,österreichischen Klimarat der Bürger:innen 2022'' (Austrian Citizens' Climate Council 2022).
