Sustainable consumption

Consumption means on one hand the acquisition of goods for satisfying personal needs and on the other hand consumption and utilization of consumer goods. Both cases emphasise the usage of goods. In order to shape consumption as resource-saving and sustainable as possible, OGUT is enganged in highlighting and demonstrating sustainable consumption patterns for several years now. In the meantime there is a range of examples of sustainable consumer goods. The main focus in the area of sustainable consumption is put on questions around sustainable food, labelling of sustainable products as well as issues around waste avoidance.
