The project is to be implemented in the pilot communities in the four participating countries, i.e. Thalgau in Austria, Eggesin in Germany, Šaľa in Slovakia and Jesenice in Slovenia.Framework analysis
In a first step, the economic, legal and technical framework for energy efficiency measures in the building sector has been surveyed. Energy saving potentials in the building sector
After completion of this first step the project team conducted a survey on the energy demand of the communities' building sector.Concept of measures to enhance energy efficiency
Based on the preparatory activities the project team organised national stakeholder-workshops on energy efficiency measures in buildings ans created concepts of measures for each community."Best of" brochures
Brochures with best practice examples from the respective ambience.
Implementation of pilot projects
In cooperation with the involved agencies the partner communities have started to implement the developed measures now.
