CONVIBA - Framework for Energy Performance Contracting in public buildings

Public procurement law in Austria

Energy Performance Contracting projects for public buildings must be tendered regarding the Austrian federal procurement law 2002 (BGBl Nr. 99/2002, BVergG 2002). The legally fixed threshold values (Euro 200.000,- for service and supply contract, Euro 5.000.000,- for work contract envisage different procurement procedures for the below threshold and the upper threshold range). Tenders in the upper threshold range must be announced in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
